Trichromatic Phenomena in the Service of Induced Color: A Series Performances in Light and Sound
Eternal 30 will be hosting a run of performances by Los Angeles-based musician, creative broadcaster and visual artist Sam Rowell.
Utilizing analog electronics and site-specific colored lighting arrangements, Rowell melds lush and undulating color fields with ever-evolving layers of abstract and dissonant sounds. The combination of sensory stimuli catalyzes an experience that is both meditative and dissociative, creating a space for the eyes, ears, and mind to explore the subjective nature of perception.
Each performance is unique and the audio and visual sequences are improvised and independent of one another.
Rowell will perform nine separate 30-minute sets:
Friday, September 6th: 6, 8, and 10 PM
Saturday, September 7th: 6, 8, and 10 PM
Sunday, September 8th: 2, 4, and 6 PM
Sets will start punctually. These are light-sensitive installations, and we will not be able to admit anyone after each set has started.
